We wholeheartedly believe that nature doesn’t end where the city begins Thanks to its special location amidst parks, between the sea and the limestone klint, the Pirita tee 28 development project aims to bring back nature to the former fair centre grounds, while ensuring its connection to the cultural and economic benefits that the urban environment offers. The Pirita tee 28 residential quarter is a future community whose residents know how to truly enjoy a shared neighbourhood.

Metro Capital is building villa-style apartment buildings with a total of 300 apartments at Pirita tee 28 that combine the quality of a detached house with the comfort of an apartment building, while designing an open and inclusive urban space.

The architecture of Pirita tee 28 significantly enhances the Pirita promenade and the panorama of Tallinn and creates a comprehensive living environment on the border of the park and the sea.  The winner of the international architectural competition for Pirita tee 28 is none other than the bold and carefully thought-out design of the internationally renowned ALA Architects.

Healthy and full urban life

Pirita tee 28 is based on the 15-minute-city principle: everything you need for life is just a quarter of an hour away. We will establish pedestrian and bicycle tracks that connect the quarter with Pirita tee and the Reidi tee promenade to make getting to work and school convenient. We also plan to build a six-group nursery school that supports development, and a central street lined by cafes, small shops, offices and sports clubs, which is characteristic of a main street. The park, the sea and the limestone klint provide an opportunity to slow down and relax.

Together towards climate neutrality

In the construction of the Pirita tee 28 quarter, we follow the requirements of sustainable development throughout the life cycle of the buildings, taking them into account both in the construction process and architecture, as well as in the design of the surroundings. As building materials, we use a lot of wood and the roofs are covered with traditional slate. The area will have a geothermal heating system, supplemented with solar panels installed in the slate roofs. This ensures renewable and emission-free energy that takes into account our climate.
